How do I create an arrow within slide?

I want to create an arrow from one point of a slide to point to another area
of the slide.

There is an arrow tool on the Drawing Toolbar. Click it to select it. click
you mouse where you want it to start and release where you want it to end.
If you want to animate the arrowed line, right click it and select Custom
Animation. I would use the "Wipe" animation in the direction you want it to
move.
