How do I create links with automatic "new" or updated tags?

Hi,

I 'd like to create a menu (or even just links) with tags or icons that show
when (or if) a page on the site has been updated. I'd like to be able to
choose the time frame.

I'm using Frontpage 2003 to modify and enhance our Sharepoint that someone
else hosts.

Is this something that can easily be done, or will I need to purchase an add
on? If so, can someone recommend something?

Thank you,

Kimelch

If it is a FP SE site you would need a database or some server side scripting

If it is really a Sharepoint site (under WSS) the users can select to be notified of new items by web part

Thank you, Stefan.

Not really the answer I was hoping to hear, but at least I know that I
pretty much can't do it.

My users can get alerts, but that really doesn't "fit" with what we needed.
Since someone else hosts. I guess I can't get any server side scripts. Or can
I? What if my menu isn't actually part of the sharepoint files?

Thanks again,

Kimelch
