how do i delete a letter from microsoft office word, it won't del

I typed a letter and now i want to delete it, and it will not delete, how do

You have landed in the PowerPoint group. I'm guessing you saved it and can't
delete? Make sure that the document isn't still open. In the worst case
scenario, close Word, go to Windows explorer and delete it there.
