how do I delete old email addresses from the auto fill option

more specifically, when they pop up on the drop down, use the down arrow to
select them then press delete

If the subject clearly explains the problem and you know the answer, why not
expand on the question anyway and help the person? In this case, what more
could they have told you in the "big white space" that would explain their
problem better and help you better answer the question?
