how do I disable microsoft office picture manager?

I have recently upgraded to Office 2003 (XP Pro). Email attachments that
contain photos are not opening up. How do I disable picture manager?

You may uninstall it if you choose to modify your Office installation from
the control panel. It shall be under Office tools. If you do this, it will
no longer appear and be associated with photos.
