How do I display header on the first page only?

I have been trying to make the header of a document only appear on the 1st
page of a 10 page document in Word 2004. I find anything that in the
header/footer toolbar that helps me accomplish that. I thought you used to
be able to apply only to the 1st page....I know I'm not looking in the right
spot, can anyone help?
