How do I do print screen shots?

I am trying to throw together a Powerpoint presentation for Introduction to
Computers and Outlook. I would like some feedback if anyone has any ideas,
or tips for me. I want to be able to incorporate screen shots in it, but I
am clueless as to how to do that. Please help! Thanks

I recommend: Hold down ALT key + Print Screen key.

You could also do Print Screen, but it includes more in the image than
you might want.

You do this, then right click and paste into a MS Word or PowerPoint
document.
