how do i download media clip to a slide?

What should I do to insert a moving clip from the internet to my presentation
slides? I have tried using window player and quicktime player but i still
cannot put in my slide. Please help.

It depends what type of clip it is. If it an animated gif (one of those goofy
looking icons that moves), you can save it to your disk, and insert it like a
regular picture. If it is a movie format that PPT recognizes, you can save it
and insert "Movies and Sounds."

Here are two ideas. Post the address of the Web site, and maybe someone can
give you an idea of what it is. Alternatively, post the 3-letter extension at
the end of the file name, and someone might recognize. Finally, for you
do-it-yourselfers, find the 3-letter extension and search the Web to find out
what type of file it is.
