How do I embed an object which resembles a hyperlink - click on t.

I am trying to create a letter that refers to other documents which I have
saved as PDF files. I would like to turn the text referring to the document
into a hyperlink that will open the PDF file. I also want the PDF documents
saved in my word document so i can simply email it to someone. I guess I am
really embeding a file but don't want the icon and don't want it to disrupt
the look of my letter.

Any help would be appreciated.

No problem hyperlinking to a PDF from Word: just select the PDF file as the
hyperlink target. Ideally put the PDF in the same folder as the Word
document -- then you can use a relative path in the hyperlink. Zip the whole
folder for emailing, and the hyperlinks will still work at the other end.

Big problem embedding a PDF in a Word document, if you don't want the icon.
There's no way to display the *content* of a PDF within the Word document.
There whole idea of PDF is to go the other way round. Output your Word
document to PDF, then combine it with the other PDFs to create a single
output.
