How do I enter additional rows in an Excel spreadsheet with sheet.

I have a spreadsheet in Excel 2000 that contains a number of formulas. When I
protect the sheet I still need to be able to add more rows in some instances.
Is is possible to do this without unlocking the whole sheet and allowing the
users to muck up the formulas??
