how do i find out if i can install winxp

I am using win2000 n i have an intel P3 processor with lots of memory. Can i
just install winxp without doing any ohter upgrades?

Well I'd say the first thing you need is a good spell checker. After
that you might want to post to a more appropriate newsgroup that deals
with Windows operating systems. This newsgroup is devoted to MS Project,
a planning and scheduling application.

Thank you John. Had I known this was suppose to be a professional post I
would have used spell check to correct that 1 error. Pardon me. I also
didn't see on the list anything to do with Windows operating systems. I will
look more thoroughly. Thank you again.

In my opinion, proofreading is good practice regardless of the type of
post - casual or professional. I did a quick check and I see there are
multiple newsgroups for Windows (e.g. microsoft.public.windows,
microsoft.public.windowsxp, etc.). I'm sure someone in one of those
could answer your question.
