How do I get a whole picture to appear between a two page spread .

I am trying to put pictures between two page spreads in publisher, but I
don't want to lose 2 pica of the picture to the gutter. Is there anyway to
have the picture split between the gutter without losing any of my picture or
text.

Insert your image, position it, copy the image, paste the copy and position the copy
exactly on top of the original, click the crop tool, crop the top image right to the
fold line, select the bottom image and crop left to the fold line.
As for the text, text boxes won't work in the above method. If the text is a caption,
use WordArt. Copy the WordArt, paste special, Windows Metafile. You can then crop the
WordArt.
You can copy a text box, paste special as a .png and crop.
