Word has a help file - suggest you use it.

Based upon your question, I am going to presume you are very new to word
processing. As previously suggested, you want to investigate the HELP feature
however to answer your immediate questions, do the following:

1. Select VIEW/TOOLBARS and make sure FORMATTING has a check mark in the box
- that gives you the ability to change font type, size, boldness, etc. When
you make your selections, everything you type after that point will reflect
your selections.

2. For double spacing, select FORMAT/PARAGRAPH and in that panel is a
SPACING selection option. Click on the arrow and select which ever spacing
you want.

If you want to modify a word, sentence, paragraph, or a section of a
document, you can also hightlight the applicable part and then RIGHT CLICK on
that hightlighted area and choose from the menu selection list.

One last suggestion, if your entire document is going to be double spaced
and consist of a single font/size, make those selections BEFORE you type one
word.

Hope that helps.

Good luck.

Harry
