How do I get initials to show up in Gantt chart instead of names?

When printing Gantt charts, I'd like to reduce the clutter by showing
resource initials next to each task as opposed to full names. The formatting
wizard doesn't give you the option to do this. Any insight is appreciated!

Yes, the wizard only work with a limited number of options. Instead of
using the wizard, go to Format/Bar Styles. In the lower half of the Bar
Styles Window, hit the "Text tab". When the box next to any of the text
locations is selected it will turn into a selection box from which most
of Project's fields can be selected. Just select the one for "Resource
Initials".
