I would say your screen name is appropriate.

Tell us what version of Outlook you are using, what type of mail account and
what type of notification you want to receive.

And another post from mr. "i don't want to take credit for the crap that was
produced under my name so i will post anonymously to the great amusement and
enlightenment of the masses."

And "hopeless" is someone's real name? Not someone posting anonymously? For
one person it's merely a screenname which you choose to use to be cruel and
rude and in another case it's somehow pejoratively about somehow who doesn't
want to take credit for their crap? This is illogical and inconsistent, but
as equally rude as so much of what you add to your posts. It is true that
you are very knowledgeable and do provide a great deal of useful information
on this forum (for which thanks is due) ; but it is also true that you often
do it in an unpleasant and denigrating fashion where it is never warranted
nor necessary (for which bearing witness is also due.) It's easy to be cruel
and does a person of your knowledge and experience a disservice and
diminishes you needlessly.

You could simply have pointed out to "hopeless" that certain information
about version and OS was required rather than saying that "hopeless" was
indeed hopeless for not having provided it in the first place, but it may
give you pleasure to be so needless unpleasant.

Why not dish out your own crap to all the other people who use "screen
names" and be consistent - accusing them of being cowardly unwilling to take
credit for what they write? That way you can broaden your unpleasantness
even wider which may please you.

Just because you are so bright and knowledgeable doesn't give you license to
mean to others who don't rise to your level understanding.

At least you do provide your real name and thereby do take credit for the
great deal of crap you do dish out along with your aid and assistance.
