The book I have shows and I remember having seen when I first was looking at
Visual Basic 6.3, a window/dialog box that was called New Project; that's
what the title bar says........ In it there were Icons for standardEXE and
other types of visual basic projects including ActiveX server and EXE. I
think I clicked the box that says "don't show this box again". So my question
is how do I find it to turn it back on.
When I open Word or Excel then go to tools then Macros then Visual Basic
Editor it automatically opens a StandardEXE project.....and there is no way
that I can find to open any other type of project.
Clem,
Man, what a BIG difference a little information makes!!! You are posting
to a newsgroup that deals with Microsoft Project - a planning/scheduling
application. Your question is about Visual Basic 6.x - a totally
different application. No wonder I couldn't relate.
First, VB (e.g. Visual Basic 6.x and VisualBasic.net) are not the same
as the VBA that is found in most, if not all, Microsoft applications.
VB6 and VB.net are applications for developing stand alone Visual Basic
procedures. On the other hand, VBA is an application based form of VB.
Macros developed using VBA can only be run on their resident
applications.
If you are working with VB6, I suggest you post to a more appropriate
newsgroup (i.e. one that deals with Visual Basic 6.x).
