How do I get rid of those paragraph signs in the text?

When I reply to an e-mail message or try to send a new one, I get these
little paragraph signs inserted all over the message. How do I eliminate
them? I have tried changing the format from HTML to plain text, but that
doesn't do the job.

First off, you might get a better/faster response by re-posting you
question to the Outlook Newsgroup. By using this "Access General Questions"
newsgroup, you'll most like just get ignored.
Anyway, from what you wrote, I think that you have Word set-up to be
your email editor. In Outlook, click Tools, Options, Mail Format and look to
see if you have Word selected to edit email messages. If yes, then all of
Word's functionality (including paragraph marks) will be at your disposal.
If not, then I cannot find anything in Outlook that would present paragraph
marks and you'll need to talk to someone with a ton of experience with
Outlook to answer this riddle. If you don't want to use Word for the email
editor, then unclick that checkbox, click APPLY then click OK.
