How do i get the sound to not stop the showing of my slide?

Um..... Yeah. I want it to start playing and my slide's animation to keep on
going.

In PPT 2003:

In your Custom Animation Task pane, click the drop down menu that
corresponds to your sound. Click Effect Options. Select the Effects Tab.
Select "Stop Playing" then enter the number of slides after which you would
like your sound to stop.
