How do I insert a wmv to my pp?

I am running Windows 94 and office 2000 and want to include a .wmf file on
one of my slides... have not succeeded using standard stuff. Help?

You mentioned WMV in the subject line, but WMF in the body.

WMF is an image. Insert it using Insert|Picture|From File.

WMV is a video. Insert it using Insert|Movies and Sounds|Movie From File.

Please define "have not succeeded" for us -- in other words, what's
happening when you try to insert the movie (or image)? Remember, we can't see
what you're doing there, so you have to be pretty specific so we can figure
out what's happening.

Sorry... I have a wmv file that I am tryin go get to play when the slide
comes up.

What happens when you view the video in a slideshow? Is it just a black box
there instead of the video appearing (if so, shorten the path length. see the
link below for more information.)?

I don't get anything. I don't know where to click to insert a .wmv file into
pp - the only options I have are text and images files ... I think.
