How do I insert a YOU Tube video into PowerPoint 03

The fast answer, you don't. For competitive (g) reasons Google (they own
youtube) doesn't allow their videos to be played in anything other than
their proprietary player. There are a couple of conversion applications to
alter the format to something else but from what I have seen this usually
results in very poor quality.

My best suggestion is to contact who ever posted the video and ask them if
they can supply the original. That also gives you the opportunity to ask
their permission to use it and not get into a copyright violation situation.

1. download the video from youtube
get firefox-> get video downloader-> download youtue video
2. convert youtube video to mpeg/avi/mwv with a video converter

Note:
PowerPoint can only recognize video in AVI, MPEG, MWV format and
Any movie annot be EMBED in powerpoint but linked to it.
Embed means that powerpoint just ask the system to play the video from
your local drive and the
video is not included in it.

3. insert the converted video to powerpoint
powerpoint.-> Insert Movies and sounds > Movie from file
and then find the clip.
