How do I insert linked pictures using a relative link?

I am storing my PPT file on a USB drive that gets mapped to various drive
letters. Each time the drive letter changes, I get broken links to all my
linked pictures. Is there any way to make my links relative?

Presently I'm using PPT '97, but plan to upgrade. Thanks in advance!
