How do I keep a customized toolbar fm resetting when I shutdown

When I customize my toolbar to include things like the envelope wizard and
all caps icon, it will stay until I shut down or re-start my computer. Then,
all my customization is gone! Anything I can do?

I assume you are referring to Word? If so, do you have Adobe 7
installed?

If that's the case then unfortunately Adobe's new add-in for Word will
discard all modifications you made in Word that are stored in your
Normal.dot. You can workaround this issue one of two ways:

1. Force a save to Normal.dot by holding Shift and clicking File/Save
All
2. Remove the Adobe Add-in for Word.
