How do I make a PowerPoint POT on a Mac work on a PC

I build PowerPoint Templates for Clients on a Mac. I am a designer I make no
bones about it. The client then gets an error message saying the error is
caused by a defect in the drawing object code within certain Office 2003
applications.

I only use PNG with powerpoints as I find them the smallest yet crispest and
programs natively export to MS Office.

Has anyone a workaround? or is this something my client needs to look at
from their end?

If the client hasn't yet installed Service Pack 1 for Office 2003, that might be
all that is needed.
