how do i move picturesto different places on the slide

how do i move picturesto different places on the slide during my
presentation?i dont even know where to start.i need to be able to move a
picture to match a word on the presentation but dont know how.

If you are using PowerPoint 2002/XP and above, you can make use of motion
path to do so.
1: Right click on the picture and click Custom Animation.
2: Click add effect > Motion Path.
3: Click any effect you want, it can be up, down, left, right.
4: Click on the added motion path.
5: Move your cursor to the red arrow and adjust where you want the picture
to stop at.
