How do I open a document from an earlier version of Publisher?

I was emailed a document produced in an earlier version of Publisher that I
need to proofread and I cannot open it with Publisher 2000.

No doubt is a later version of Publisher that was sent to you. Have your sender save
the document as 2000 file and re-send. Any publication earlier your 2000 version will
open.
