How do I open mdi extension with Office 2000?

I received a mdi file and do not have OFFICE XP. Can I open with OFfice 2000?

Have your sender convert it to a .tiff... It is a Microsoft Document Imaging file.

Hi CAK,

Unfortunately only the Office 2003 version of MS Office
Document Imaging can open the .MDI files it creates, at present.
