how do i open my powerpoint presentation from a cd?

I need to open a powerpoint presentation from a CD but I cannot open it,
because it says that windows needs to know what program created it. I don't
know how to open it, since i tried all of the programs already. Can someone
pleeeeeeeease help me??? Thank you so much.

To open a PowerPoint presentation you MUST have powerPoint of the appropiate
PowerPoint viewer installed. Do you?

If you don't have PowerPoint, download the free viewer which allows you to
view presentations, but not editing them.
