HI,

How do I prevent the default blank project from being opened every time I
open MS Project 2007?

The only way to prevent a blank project from opening is to click Tools -
Options - General and select the "Open last file on startup" option. I
doubt this will solve your problem, however, since the software will always
re-open the last project on which you worked. Hope this helps.

You could probably do something with VBA but I would question whether or
not it is worth the hassle. Why is this such an issue for you?

HI,

Thanks for replying back.
I do have VB macro solution for this , but as a macro can contain virus and
security can be breached using that. So we have avoided that soln now. i
think Dale is correct on the MS project opens up the last project you worked
upon.
This way i can avoid default project from being opening up.
thanks guys:)
