How do I print to scale?

When I draw a floor plan in Viso at 1/4" = 1'-0", how do I get it to print to
scale, so that when I measure a wall that is supposed to be 20', it measures
5" on the printout?

Set the Page Setup | Drawing Scale to the scale you require (in the case
mentioned, if my childhood arithmetic with those archaic Imperial
measurement units serves me correctly, there are 12 of the inch thingies to
a foot thingie, therefore 1/4" to 1 foot corresponds to 1:48 scale).

I understand that. When I print the drawing, it does not come out to scale.

I assume you are replying to my suggestion regarding scale.

It should print to scale. If your drawing is not sensitive, could you
upload it (or a simple example of your issue) to a web-space and
provide a link for us to download it and look at it?

For example, here is a simple class exercise, a house in orthographic views
at 200:1 scale on A4 paper. The width of the house is shown as 15m; print
it and measure the print hard-copy and it is 75mm, since
15000mm/200=75mm. It is quite accurate.
