How do I re-import published website pages back into publisher

I published a website from publisher but didn't save it in publisher first.

I want to make some changes to the master page and add some more pages and
don't want to have to start again!

Any help gratefully received.

You are pretty much out of luck. Publisher generates the webpage from the
..pub file so if you don't have that............

Print out your page and get ready to recreate it. And this time SAVE IT! And
then save it again just to sure. (Sorry)

You make the changes you want in the Publisher file, then generate new html
files, delete your old files on your website, upload the revised ones. The
other direction doesn't work

And by the way, using a master page is intended for print documents, not
webpages. If you find your site not working correctly that will likely be
part of the problem. Lots of good information about using Publisher to

You've pretty much got the answer from others. Don't feel like you are the
only one who deleted the pub file. It's a lesson you never forget.
