How do I register as a student user?

Hi, I have the student/teacher edition of Office. During
launch the computer said I could register online or by
phone. I chose to register online and then it told me my
browser didn't support the website or something like that.
Anyways, I am not sure if I am properly registered and if I
am not it will stop working after 50 uses. I have already
used Office between 7 and 10 times for school. Please help
me before I reach 50. Thanks, Kathi

You need a recent version of Internet Explorer. This doesn't need to be your
default browser, just start it up and go to the web site. Microsoft has set
up much of its web site to not work with competitors.

Otherwise, activate using the phone number.
