How do I remove a summary bar in MS Projects 2003?

I need to get rid of a summary bar that I created. How do you do this?

Hi Mona,

If you are referring to the Project Summary Task (line 0) in the project
file, go to Tools> Options, View tab and uncheck Show project summary task.

If you have created a summary task by indenting subtasks, you'll want to
select the *subtasks* first and outdent them so they are no longer subtasks.
Then you can delete the summary task.
