how do i remove duplicated sync items in calender

Hi, I've synced my ipaq, and for some reason it has duplicated contacts
b'days and aniversaries, even though remove duplicates was on at the time.
These duplicates can't be removed as they are "not found obkects"! Any ideas
on how to solve this one?
