How do I remove rouge anti-spyware?

An anti-spyware called Awola has been loaded unto my computer without my
permission and I'm unable to get rid of it without purchasing a license. I've
tried for the past 2 weeks to purge it from my system without any success.

There are lots of references for Awola and its removal that you can find at
Google - none of them anything to do with Word doc management!

This newsgroup is for questions about Microsoft Word, which this certainly
is not.

All you needed to do was ask Google about Awola. It returns about 90000
hits, most of them about how to remove the program. Be sure to choose your
advice from a reputable source, such as Symantec

or Microsoft
(http://www.microsoft.com/protect/computer/spyware/remove.mspx).
