How do i restrict the upadtion of field codes in document Header/.

I have made a document in which i had inserted some documents using section
break.
All the documents are based on some template and will have different field
codes associated with them. I had unchecked the option" Update field code" in
printing.
But the problem is, it does not changes the value of fieldcode in main
document body but it changes the value of field code in header/footer. HOw
do i restrict it?
