How do I save a powerpoint presentation to a word document?

I've got one pic in Powerpoint 2003 format and need to save it to word,
without all the dots that appear when I select Edit, then Select All.

In 2003, just select the picture, Right Click and either Copy and then paste
into Word, or Save as Picture, give it a filename and location, select the type
from Save as type drop down window, then from within word, just insert the image
you saved.
