How do I search for Duplicate Mail to delete in Office 2007 beta2

K

KOOLHAND

All my Mail Folders have a duplication of each Mail I have received which
adds to many hundreds now.

Is there a way to search for all duplicate mail so I can Delete them?

Thank you, Luke Portier

Thanks for your interest, but I was looking for a fix within Outlook-Office
2007 and not a commercial product, as I can Delete 10 files at a time
manually also.

Regards Luke.

Hi Brian,
Thank you so much for your reply and the Website with a Treasure Chest full
of utilities and programs. I'm Sure I will find a solution to my problem in
amongst the duplicates section.

I also remembered a Website I came across earlier this year, but alas, no
info on duplicate mail removers, but I thought it may be of some help to
others.
As I am new to this Community I'm in no doubt it has been shown before but
may be of help to other new members to have as a reference........

Thanks again Brian and to all other members for their assistance.

Best wishes to all, Luke.

Bill - here we are almost 31 months later, and I'm wondering still how to
remove my duplicate messages, is your suggested method in 7/06 still the best
method? Thanks in advance. Dick in KS

that or one of the other duplicate remover tools should do just fine - a
list of tools is at http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail_duplicates.asp

They are mostly equal and most have free trials. If you want cheap, try one
of the freebies, otherwise, either the sperry software or mapilab addin
should be good.

Thanks I will purchase one tomorrow (one of the two you recommended, and it
will probably be the cheapest of those two). I have Outlook e-mails from
Office 97/2000 and now 2007 that I have saved. They have been transferred
around so many times, etc, and I know there are so many duplicates there.
