How do I select multiple frames in Word 2000?

I am trying to slect multiple frames in Word 2000 so I can move them all at
once. is there any way to do this?

Select the first, and then hold down the shift key to add to your selection.

I thought the same thing, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm using an .rtf
format on the document, so might that be making a difference?

No, the file format doesn't matter. Text frames (unlike drawing
objects) can only be selected one at a time.
