how do I set up an automatic overdue email reminder?

I am new to MS Project. I would like to find out if I can set up an email
reminder to people when their deadlines are close and another email reminder
to people whose deadlines are past due.

Are you using Project Server and Project Web Access(PWA)?

Hi there,

Not yet; I've really just begun. I did speak with one of our IT guys about
Project Server, but apparently, no one is currently set up on it. (Our
company is rather small, and those who have Project have just started
"getting their feet wet"!)

I had a feeling -- from reading the "Dummies" book -- that was what I was
going to need in order to accomplish this.

Hi Betz,

I would encourage you to get your MS Project users fully trained before
approaching Project Server. The Project Managers will still need to use
(and fully understand) MS Project first.
