Status Reports linked to automated email alert/reminder

Why do I NOT get DAILY email reminders when Status Reports are overdue?

Working in Project Server 2007 Web Access, I have Admin rights. I created a
weekly Status Report and sent to my resources to complete. (I am under the
assumption that once the Status Report is created and I set the frequency to
occur every week on Friday, that Status Reports are automatically generated
for the resources and I never have to do it again) I linked an email
(Outlook) alert/reminder to be sent to my resources which notify them when
reports are due/overdue. I set the alerts to generate daily emails until an
overdue status report is finally submitted.

I set up 2 dummy resources to test this with so I can log in to Project
Server as them to see their Office Project Web Access "Home" page along with
access to view their email mailbox.

As the manager: I did updated "Personal Settings" -> "Manage My Resources’
Alerts and Reminders" and setting my resources and myself to receive an
automatically generated DAILY Outlook email alerts when Status Reports become
overdue. Last week, I have gotten 1 email telling me a Status Report is
overdue, but email alerts should continue to generate DAILY until its
submitted and I am not receiving daily email alerts.

As an individual resource: I also went into "Personal Settings"-> "Manage My
Alerts and Reminders" and set them to generate daily email reminders.

I can see that the Status Report is still shown as overdue on the "Home"
page, but the resource only got 1 email alert ~ so I'm perplexed as to what I
am doing wrong. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

jac,

Please post your message to the project server newsgroup. It's
possible you will receive a faster answer there.

However, please bear in mind that the folks who respond to questions
are volunteers. Sending a new post in an hour will not make the
answers appear more quickly.

Hi Jac,

Are you posting through the web interface? If so, you should be able
to post to the project server newsgroup. Using IE, I see a list of
Office Discussion groups on the left, if I hover my mouse over the
listing for Microsoft Project, the sub menu shows 3 groups: General,
Server, and Developer. Select the Server newsgroup and post your
question there.

If you are using a news reader post to:
microsoft.public.project.server for Project server questions and PWA
Questions
microsoft.public.project for questions about Microsoft Project -- not
Server or PWA
microsoft.public.project.developer for questions about using VBA to
program in Project.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
