How do I set up borders or lines in a one note container

I'd like to be able to draw lines or borders around containers in onenote.

Also - can containers be set up similar to linked boxes or columns in Word ?

You cannot draw a border around a container in OneNote to empasize this
specific container but if you are looking for a feature to make all
containers more prominent you can set this in <Tools | Options | Display |
Adjust the darkness of note container...>

And another "no" for the second question - OneNote doesn't have columns in
Word's sense when the text flows from the first column into the second. You
could place two containers adjacent to each other (drag the contatiner in
place while pressing Alt key to prevent merging). Would that help?
