How do I show a hidden column in Project 2000?

I hid a column and am trying to unhide it. I tried the following-- select the
column to the right of the hidden column; select Insert a column; named it
the same as the hidden column. But I got a column with random, meaningless
numbers instead of the hidden column.

Go to "Views, Tables, More Tables" and select the table you want.
Click "Edit". Find the column(s) with 0 width and make it whatever you
like. (You don't have to get it just right, that's more easily done
after you've closed up the Table dialog box and you're back looking at
the table.) Click OK.

Now when you go back to the table, you can adjust the column width by
putting the cursor on the right edge of the column in question and
drag it to the width you desire. Or double-click to best fit it. Just
don't drag it too far to the left and hide the column again! :)

Hope this helps in your world.
