How do I show pictures in the actual email instead of as an attach

I am using Office 2003. the pictures all appear as attachments along the top
of the email now instead of in the actual email. You can't scroll down
looking at them all, you have to click on the one by one switching back
between your email and the picture viewer. It is no where near as efficient
or as much fun as the old way. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

Delma, this is the Word group, and you should probably ask in the Outlook
group, BUT your answer would be that you've changed your email format.
Likely, you should try HTML or Rich Text format or using Word as the email
editor. I suspect you've currently got plain text as the choice. Now, I'm
talking about SENDING emails, not receiving. You have no real options on
receiving...it's up to the person who sends the email.

Hi Anne,

Ummm, did you perhaps mean to say that it is up to the
receiver rather tha the sender?

It can be a limitation/function of the email client the
receiver is using. AOL, for example has a history of handling email
'differently'

And the receiver may be using the setting in their email client
software, such as Incredimail, Outlook or Outlook Express
to read all email in plain text, in which case pictures et al
do show as attachments.
