How do I solve the fatal error occurance in setting up office 200.

I did have the office 2003 iinstalled at one time. I cannot get it
reinstalled. I've downloaded it from the trial version several times.

I am going to buy it, but desire to review the professional version first.

My first thought is that Microsoft is smart enough to bury some file
with some code, deep on your hard drive, that the downloader checks to
determine if you already have a trial version of the software installed (or
was installed). They don't want you to continually download the trial
version just to get out of paying for it. (Not you, of course, but some
other unscrupulous user). Or, their trial version downloader uses cookies or
inspects your IP address, or something else like that. You're probably just
going to have to buy the software.
