If my computer crashes during a presentation, how do I start the presentation
where I left off after the computer starts up again ?

Double click the presentation, hit F5 for slide show view, and then type in
the number of the slide you were on and hit Enter.

If you don't know that number, you can open the file in PowerPoint in edit
mode, navigate to the slide you want to start from, and hit the little
screen icon in the lower left corner. That will start you from the current
slide.

If you're using PPT 2003, Shift+F5 will also start you from the current
slide. F5 starts the show from the beginning.
