How do I stop automatic capitalization after JUST bullets?

I'm not able to add bullets as an Auto Correct exception for automatic
capitalization. I've read that a numbered list does not automatically
capitalize the first letter (even if your settings say to). This is what I'm
trying to do for bullets. Hope someone can help. Thanks.
