How do I stop documents from printing images double?

When creating documents in any Office program, when we insert an image from a
file, it appears correctly on screen. But when we print, it duplicates the
image, squishing it into the same box size, printing 2 where there should
only be one image. Has anyone had this same problem and how did you fix it?

Usually, updating or installing the lastest printer drivers for the
operating system is the recommended course of action. See printer
manufacturers web site for latest version

In Word, try turning off background printing in Tools | Options | Print.
In Windows, try turning off printing spooling and/or advanced text
services in Start | Control Panel | Printers | <right-click on your
printer> | Properties.
