How do I tranfer data from a view page to a checkout page?

I am trying to build a webstore. I am stuck at trying to place a order button
in the view pages. The issue I have is how do I transfer the data from the
view page to the checkout page. I.e. Ite, Item #, Cost, etc.?

Either Pass all the parameters using ASP page/form variables
- or write them to a temp DB record and the read/edit them when needed

If you are not aware of how to do either of those you probably shouldn't be building a shopping cart w/ assistance of a professional
developer
