how do i transfer email addresses from excel to outlook contacts?

Please help!!!!!!!! Can anybody help me? My boss asked me to transfer 1000
email from excel to his outlook contacts. Is there an easy way to do this?

Use Outlook's File | IMport and Export command. The Excel worksheet needs to
have the data in rows and columns, one row for each contact. Create a named
range covering all the rows to be imported by using the Insert | Name
command
