How do I transfer email names from excel to Outlook?

When i use import in Outlook (from an Excel program) it gets to the last step
and the forward arrow is light so I cannot proceed. There is no further
information. My excel program consists of two columns (name and email
address) and I gave it a range name.

Probably would be helpful for everyone if you stated your Outlook version
and what exactly you mean "by last step" - there are several screens you go
thru so hard to know what you're referring to. By arrow - assume you're
referring to the button that says "Next ->"

Taking a wild guess here but would your problem by any chance be appearing
on the screen that says "These actions will be performed" - has a box
underneath showing the file with a checkbox (which is <unchecked>) meaning
that the button that says "Map Custom Fields" is also greyed out (but allows
you to <change destination>)? If that's the case - make sure the checkbox is
checked and then either proceed or "Map your fields" (highly recommended).
